Great Pond is the largest body of water in the famed Belgrade Chain of Lake at 8,239 acres and has a maximum depth of 68 feet. Situated among wooded, rolling hills and fertile farmland, beautiful Great Pond is heavily used for a variety of recreational activities by both seasonal and year-round residents. An excellent state-owned boat launch and parking facility is located off Sahagan road near Belgrade Lakes Village provides access to Great Pond for boats of all sizes.
