Located in central Maine, Big Indian Pond is a small water body at just 990 acres. It is surrounded by rolling farmland and with Maines large wilderness tracts just to the north, this body of water offers a variety of fishing experiences. Public access is available in St. Albans, just off Route 43. This access site is provided by the Big Indian Pond Fish and Game Association and also provides an opportunity for fishing and picnicking along the southeast shore of the pond. The navigational aids on Big Indian are placed and maintained by the Big Indian Pond Association. They are shown in approximate locations and may be off station due to human or natural actions.
